I asked this question: "[How do I let my Facebook friends view my Timeline posts without letting them comment on the posts?](https://webapps.stackexchange.com/q/21231/7584)" in November 2011. A mod unilaterally closed it on Mar. 26, 2023, without comment as a duplicate of this question: "[How to disable comments for my post in Facebook?](https://webapps.stackexchange.com/q/26525/7584)" which was asked in May 2012, more than five months after my question, and is also recently closed as “needs details or clarity”, forming a chain of closed questions.

My question was asked *five months prior* to the supposed original question, so if there is a duplicate closure, it should be the other way around.

**What part of *my* question needs details or clarity? How can I improve my question to get it reopened?** What details do I need to add? IMO, the closure itself needs detail or clarity. I would appreciate it if I could have a chance to clarify or respond to attempts to close my question before it is closed unilaterally by a mod, as is good practice on most SE sites.

Since it is unclear what is unclear about my question, I request that it be reopened. I believe my question is straightforward, clear, and on-topic: [How do I let my Facebook friends view my Timeline posts without letting them comment on the posts?](https://webapps.stackexchange.com/q/21231/7584)
